Samuel L. Jackson Will Introduce Players Before the Hornets and Clippers Play on Thursday Night

The New Orleans Hornets may not be putting A-list talent onto the court during games this season. But, somehow, they have found a way to get it onto the court before games. A little more than a month ago, they convinced Will Ferrell to handle the player introductions prior to a Hornets/Bulls game. And on Thursday night, they'll welcome Samuel L. Jackson—who is in town shooting Quentin Tarantino's flick Django Unchained—to "The Hive" where he'll try to reenact the greatness of Ferrell's intros.

Will he be able to do it? Ehhhh. Doubtful. Ferrell killed his intros and we still can't look at Luol Deng without thinking about exotic birds. But we can't wait to see him try.
