During today's World Cup Skicross Event in Switzerland, the world of skiing was dealt another tragic blow when Canadian racer Nick Zoricic died from “severe neurotrauma” after crashing into the course's safety nets. He was 29 years old. Only two short months ago, skiier Sarah Burke passed away at the very same age when she hit her head against the base of a superpipe in Utah during a training session. Sadly, the sport has lost another amazing person far too soon. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.
