Motorcycle Racer Would Rather Lose A Finger Than Miss The Upcoming Superbike Season

Would you do the same thing?

None

It all started in 2011 when motorcycle racer John Hopkins crashed while practicing for the Czech Grand Prix. What initially seemed like a broken right finger soon turned into six surgeries with the promise of more times under the knife on the way. So with the 2012 Superbike season looming, Hopkins decided to just cut the finger off instead of missing a single race! And judging from a tweet fired off by man himself, dude was taking the whole thing in stride:

With it being Friday the 13th I should have asked the Doctor to wear the mask and dress up like "Jason" as they chopped the finger ; ) Ha Ha

Damn, did you really think this through?! Kudos to you homie because we definitely would not have done the same thing.
