David Beckham came to America's soccer league and made history this past season with the Galaxy. He might not be as highly publicized, but American Clint Dempsey has been doing the same for Fulham in the English Premier League. During 30-minute span, 28-year-old Dempsey put three goals into the back of the net in a 5-2 victory over Newcastle, becoming the first American to record at hat trick in EPL history. Fulham has been Dempsey's home for the past five years after he played for the New England Revolution in the MLS. The U.S. Soccer Federation recently named the striker, who also had a hat trick on Jan. 7, the American Male Athlete of the Year.
