Tonight, North Carolina and Michigan State will play the first real game of the college basketball season (games like that Kentucky/Morehouse matchup don't count!) and they'll do it in a very unique place. They'll be taking the court on the flight deck of the USS Carl Vinson, an aircraft carrier that's docked in San Diego. It took nearly three years of planning, but the ship will be able to host a crowd of 7,000 fans and features two large video boards, several hospitality tents, and, of course, a court that had to be built right on the flight deck. In this clip, you can see exactly how it all came together. Pretty cool, huh?
