Ignore the mess. Forget the craziness of it all. John Brown University knows how to ring in another season of college basketball. As the more than 30-year tradition goes, after the Eagles score their first basket of the game, the JBU fans litter the court with tons and tons of toilet paper in celebration. And even though John Brown was given a technical foul and forced to give up two points for the demonstration, it didn't make much of a difference since they still won 101-58 (or 103-58, depending on who you ask). If only a place like the Carrier Dome––which holds the all-time record for on-campus college basketball attendance (33,633)––can get onboard with this. [via Deadspin]
