The NFL trade deadline was this past Tuesday, and while Carson Palmer going to the Raiders got the most press at the time, another deadline day deal may end up having a bigger impact in the long run. On Tuesday the Lions traded Jerome Harrison to the Eagles for running back Ronnie Brown. A swap of backup tailbacks, no big deal, right? Well, during the physical to officially complete the trade, doctors discovered a tumor in Harrison's brain. There's no information on the status of the tumor at this point, but it's quite possible this proposed change of address just saved dude's life. Good luck. [via ProFootballTalk]
