Pretty much any time the word "swag" is used in mainstream media, you're in for a pretty ridiculous story. But this particular story takes the cake. After University of Clemson quarterback Tjah Boyd injured his hip during the team's game against Boston College on Saturday afternoon, he was asked why he doesn't wear hip pads to protect himself. His response: "For swag reasons."
Holy $^%&*@$#, dude! Seriously?! Fortunately for the Tigers, he'll be wearing hip pads this week when they take on Maryland. Unfortunately for Boyd, his swag levels will be at an all-time low so we're not sure how he'll perform. SMFH. See? Ridiculous. [via Black Sports Online]
