While most automakers are constantly looking to the future, Italian sports car masters Ferrari took a pause from crafting the next generation of motor vehicles to give us a blast from the past with the 340 Competizione. The retro ride was bult to pay homage to the classic 1952 Ferrari 340 Mexico. When it was first brought to life as the Ferrari 456 GT, the Competizione had the same 470hp, 5.4L V12 engine the retro model of today carries. The cars interior is also remininiscent of the 340 Mexico original. The exterior takes a more modern approach with aluminum bodywork. The six-speed manual vehicle got a couple of upgrades as well including new suspension, brakes and aerodynamics.
