COMPLEX SAYS: Snyder signed with the Atlanta Thrashers as an undrafted free agent in 1999 after spending years improving his game as a junior player in Canada. Not the most skilled player, but a winner and team leader at every stop of his career, Snyder died after playing only 49 NHL games in parts of three seasons, the victim of a car crash in a vehicle driven by star teammate Dany Heatley.
