MINI's cutesy Rocketman concept was a big hit at this year's Geneva Motor Show. Now, from Auto Express, comes word that the car could blast into production by 2014. Though BMW execs denied that their 'i' division would be collaborating on a MINI, Auto Express suggests many of the car's components could be shared with BMW's upcoming i3 City Car. Maybe that's because Bimmer also stated, "the technology we are developing for the 'i' family of cars will certainly be made available for the rest of the BMW Group".

It's still a bit early to speculate what exactly might power the Rocketman in 2014, but we're crossing our fingers for jet engines.
