A year ago, Kevin Durant was Derrick Rose. Well, Kevin Durant was almost Derrick Rose. He didn't end up winning the MVP award at the end of the NBA season, which Rose will likely do, but he was the new guy that everyone seemed to be pulling for. But despite the fact that he's poised to win the scoring title this season and the fact that he's got the Thunder ready to make another run in the playoffs, KD feels like folks have forgotten about him this year in terms of their MVP selections.

"I guess I'm flying under the radar," he said recently. "A lot of people forgot about me this year...People like the new story, I guess. Hopefully, I just continue to keep being competitive every year and hopefully I'm in the [MVP] conversation." Something tells us you'll be just fine, dude. [via HoopsHype]
