Lil Wayne's Favorite NFL Player Wants to Become a Track Star

Yep, one NFL player says he might look into joining the U.S. track team if an NFL lockout occurs.

NFL players running track is nothing new. Former Bears wide receiver Willie Gault was a member of the U.S. Olympic team that boycotted the 1980 Olympics. Speedy hurdler Renaldo Nehemiah became the first person to run the 110m high hurdles event in less than 13 seconds before joining the 49ers for three years in the early 1980s. And, more recently, David Tyree and Tim Dwight participated in the Millrose Games in 2010. But NFL running back/fantasy football beast/Young Money representative Chris Johnson hitting the track? Now, that would be epic. And, according to his Twitter account, it could happen if the NFL experiences a lockout next season. Maybe that CJ/Usain Bolt race we've been waiting for isn't such a pipe dream after all. [via SB Nation]

Boy they need to let me kno what's gonna happen with this NFL lockout cause if they do ima join the us track team.less than a minute ago via ÜberSocialChris Johnson
