The Type R Integra was significant for several reasons. First, Honda waved its red "R"-shaped magical wand, bumping power, reducing weight, and stiffening the chassis. Second, this was the one and only Type R to make it Stateside. Subsequently, third, it was one of the most stolen models, ever—of the five people I knew who owned one, each of them had theirs raped and pillaged worse than a Mongoloid invasion. Mine included. Only it wasn't really a Type R, just clad as the Japanese one. I should've kept it stock.
