Legendary Kenyan distance runner Eliud Kipchoge added to his long list of accomplishments earlier today when he claimed victory at the Berlin Marathon. With a time of 2:03:32, Kipchoge crossed the finish line wearing the flagship offering from Nike's Breaking2 range of footwear, the Zoom VaporFly Elite. Shortly after, designer Virgil Abloh took to Instagram to pay homage to his fellow member of Team Nike's win.
Abloh customized a pair of his own Off-White x Nike Zoom Fly SP runners with Kipchoge's finish time, wrapped in his signature quotation marks. While it wasn't mentioned in the caption, it wouldn't be surprising if this pair is on its way to the champ.
After drops in select cities this month, Abloh's "The Ten" Collection will officially launch in November.
