If there was a "breakout" shoe of 2015, it had to be the Sock Dart. The old school silhouette was brought back and appealed to OG sneakerheads and also established a rabid set of new fans this year too. There have been a ton of Sock Dart releases in 2015 and it looks like Nike is going to ride the wave of popularity into 2016.
Typically, leaked sneaker photos are around flip phone camera quality. But here are a bunch of high quality photos of a few Sock Darts set to release in 2016 and they are fucking fire. You can see these navy, red and grey colorways here and that's apparently not even the full lineup of what to expect next year as there are some black and blue pairs on deck too. The navy joints here are undeniable and even though red sneakers have blown up like a supernova only to collapse into a black hole in the past year or so, the red ones here look pretty damn solid. Apparently, there are going to be "a great number of them during the next months" according to Spanish retailer Sivadescalzo, and while that's vague, it's still pretty promising. We can only hope we'll be able to get our hands on them when they finally drop next year.
