One of the most historic Air Jordans finally has a confirmed release date for 2016.
Per Sole Collector, we can confirm that the "Flu Game" Air Jordan XII will return in remastered form on May 28, 2016. Thus far, all we've seen are images of kid's sizes, and the release pictured above is actually the 2003 Retro. However, photos of the 2016 version should be surfacing soon enough, so keep your eyes peeled.
The last time the "Flu Game" Jordan XIIs dropped was the 2009 release, which featured a black nubuck upper in place of the traditional leather build. As cool as the details were, this is the sort of sneaker that doesn't need any help telling its story. The 2016 Retro will look to make things right by returning to the full grain leather construction, something 'heads have been waiting on for over a decade.
Once again, the leather "Flu Game" XIIs will drop on May 28, 2016 with an expected retail price of $190. Stay tuned for more on these.
