The next sneaker from Kevin Durant's signature Nike KD 7 line pulls inspiration from weather, cash, and, get this, Ben Franklin. All these themes are blended together perfectly on the upcoming "Easy Money" KD7.

It's no secret that Durant has always had an affinity for meteorology and that his nickname is Easy Money. These personal narratives takes shape on the hits of green throughout the sneaker, which is actually inspired by Ben Franklin. Not only is the famous inventor on the $100 bill, but he's also known for his kite experiment where he proved the electrical property of lightning.

Rounding out the color scheme is light brown on the forefoot and midsole, a gum outsole, and vibrant accents on the eyelets and interior. The KD 7s also feature the names of Durant's mother (Wanda), grandmother (Barbara), father (Wayne), and brother (Tony) on the inside of the strap.

Watch for the sneakers to drop next Wednesday, September 10, on Nike.com and at select Nike Basketball retailers.
