Adult Film Actress Yurizan Beltran Died from Opioid Overdose

Yurizan Beltran died in her sleep in December.

Adult film star Yurizan Beltran, known as Yuri Luv, passed away in December, and only now have the details of her death emerged.

According to the Los Angeles County Coroner, the 31-year-old’s death has been ruled as an accidental overdose of the prescription opioid, hydrocodone. After her death, Beltran’s friend, Nick Melillo told Newsweek that, “She died in her sleep.” He had discussed what the possible causes of her death could have been, but had no definitive answer, adding that she had been frequently fighting with her boyfriend.

“It’s very difficult for girls in the adult business to find men who are willing to accept them,” Melillo had shared. “That’s why she took drugs here and there.”

The coroner shared that a second major cause of death was bronchopneumonia, or inflammation of the lungs.

Beltran’s career took off when she was 18, after appearing on the cover of Lowrider magazine. The Long Beach native was then featured in Penthouse, and then starred in over 200 projects for companies BangBros, Hustler, Brazzers, Evil Angel, New Sensations, Digital Sin, and Pornstar Platinum.

Beltran's death occurred about a week after 23-year-old adult film star August Ames committed suicide.
