Turns Out Pennywise Could Easily Lure More People Into His Sewer If He Offered the Right Stuff

The good people of Twitter are here to let Pennywise from 'It' know he needs to get more creative.

It was only released about a week ago, but it has already broken multiple box office records. With a highly successful $117 million opening weekend, It is the biggest September opening of all time as well as the biggest opening weekend by a horror or supernatural movie.

The movie's star Pennywise the Dancing Clown, played by Bill Skarsgård, is a pretty formidable villain, and not just because clowns are inherently creepy. He lives in the sewers of Derry, Maine and works his hypnotic/demonic charm to lure children down into the sewer with him, telling them they’ll "float" if they come with him.

The massive success of the movie coupled with the premise of a sewer clown luring more and more people into his lair provided the perfect combination for yet another one of Twitter’s outstanding jokes. It seems that many people would gladly squeeze their way through the sewer grates and let Pennywise do whatever he might want to them—if he promised the right thing. On Wednesday night, Twitter user @MotherOfIncest proved this by posting this simple question:

"I can cancel your remaining student loan balance down here" https://t.co/RiGv8kgsES

And many people, including Chance the Rapper, got in on the fun by providing a range of different answers. Check them out below.

"I got that new Drake project down here" https://t.co/geouj5kfk6
"I got Trix Yogurt" https://t.co/0kxVVdGeuu
All Pennywise would need to do to lure me into the sewer is prove he had bowls of chips and salsa.
"I've got season 8 of #GameOfThrones down here.." https://t.co/xVHFQWKLbX
Seriously , all Pennywise would have to do is offer me a solid career with benefits and I would be throwing myself into that sewer.
