Tupac Shakur was as talented as he was enigmatic. An extremely versatile artist and deeply complicated human being, the dichotomy of Tupac’s personage is on full display in this year’s standout biopic about his life, All Eyez on Me

With acclaimed music video director Benny Boom at the helm, All Eyez on Me tells the true story of Tupac Shakur in all his forms: rapper, actor, partner, poet and activist. The film chronicles the central moments of Pac’s artistic life, including his rise to hip-hop stardom, transition to acting, time in prison, and controversial tenure at Death Row Records. Although we all know how the story ends, the film dissects just how deeply Tupac’s legacy continues to resonate in not just hip-hop culture, but world culture.

The film’s stellar cast includes Kat Graham as Jada Pinkett Smith, Danai Gurira as Afeni Shakur, Dominic L. Santana as Suge Knight, and breakout star Demetrius Shipp Jr. as Tupac himself. All Eyez on Me is available now on Digital HD.
