In the first SNL since President Donald Trump’s inauguration, the cast did not hold anything back.

For the show’s cold open, Beck Bennett, taking on his role as Vladimir Putin, delivered a message to the American people from the Russian Federation. Poking fun at President Trump’s unpredictability and his ties to Russia, Putin simply wants Americans to relax and reassures us that “he’s got this.” “I promise we will take care of America, it’s the most expensive thing we ever bought,” he says.

Putin also brings up the massive women’s marches that happened all over the nation. He questioned why women were standing up against Trump, and then referred to the fact that women in Russia have no reason to protest (Hilarious exchange with Kate McKinnon BTW).

Despite what Trump and White House press secretary Sean Spicer say, Putin referenced facts about the actual Inauguration turnout by comparing images from the women’s march. To further drive his point, he called out Trump’s lies at the CIA headquarters, basically telling him to do better.

Overall, SNL is on a hot streak recently and they don’t plan to slow down with the Trump jokes. Check it out above.
