Fire up your Crying Jordan memes, as truTV has unveiled the first look at their new Comedy Knockout series with just a taste of the brutal roasting action to come. The series, hosted by Guy Code vet Damien Lemon, pits roast-ready comedians against each other for a series of thankfully ridiculous challenges. The catch? The audience has all the power and must decide who is the funniest person on the stage, which kind of sounds like the coolest burden ever.

In each half-hour episode, Lemon will toss three comedians into battle as the audience of makeshift comedy experts closely observe each would-be champ's comedic and/or roasting skills. During the challenges, each comedian is allowed to hurl mini-roasts at each other in an attempt to break concentration and initiate a loss. Once the audience has spoken, the episode's loser must face the camera and give an ego-smashing apology for, you know, being a huge loser and all.

For the series' inaugural 10-episode season, Damien Lemon will be joined by a nice stack of guests including Jim Norton, Kevin Barnett, Arden Myrin, Jamie Lee, Sherrod Small, Yamaneika Saunders, Chris Distefano, and many more. With 10 episodes of contentious battling ahead, that means we'll also be gifted with 10 apparent losers. Find out the identity of Comedy Knockout's very first loser when the series premieres via truTV on Apr. 21.
