WTF Is up With People's Insane Halloween Decorations?

Ah, good old Halloween. Everyone loves pumpkins. delicious candy, dressing up like the pizza rat, and, of course, little people impaled on spikes with knives jammed down their throat and blood coming out of their eyes.

Yes, it's that time of year when some people like to turn their front yard into a Rob Zombie movie by decorating it with a little something I like to call "nightmare shit."

In Parma, Ohio, one unchill family (who happens to live on the same block as an elementary school) has drawn complaints with fun little decorations like the traditional guy on an upside down crucifix with syringes jammed in his neck and the old-fashioned bloody torture body wrapped in plastic. Fun!

One of the complaints came from a little girl who walks by this fun on her way to school. "I felt scared 'cause I thought they were real people," the 9-year-old told the station. So much fun!

Of course, traumatizing small children is only part of the fun. In Detroit, it's apparently even more fun if you can scare adults and also waste city tax dollars.

Like this woman, who according to the Detroit News really enjoys putting this fake corpse on her lawn, even though people constantly think it's real and call 911 causing the cops to show up.

“People running up trying to do CPR. Once they find out it’s a dummy, it’s so hilarious,” she told the newspaper. Yep, we're still having fun, I guess!

That little girl from Parma, Ohio had a suggestion: maybe they could take down the nightmare shit and put up "Like fake plastic skulls or little tiny skeletons or blow up pumpkins."

In other words, chill.
