The Duggar family, all forty nineteen of them, are usually embroiled in controversy because of their ultra conservative views, but this time it’s because they forgot how to be decent human beings toward the most defenseless creatures of all: animals. Duggar transplant, Derick Dillard, who is married to Duggar daughter Jill, and will soon be fathering a child with her, posted a video on Instagram of the family sledding together at the Duggar den. In the video you see an orange cat sitting in the snow directly in the path of where it seems Dillard will go. Before sledding, Dillard is heard saying, “Move, cat.” Then wife Jill yells, “Push him! Push him! Push him!” The helpless cat, failing to see Dillard coming, gets run over, but scrambles out of the way, not appearing to be hurt. People are especially offended by the incident because at the end of the video you hear Jill and others laughing, when in fact the cat could've been seriously hurt. Animal cruelty is no laughing matter, people!
