Few feelings are worse than having to use the bathroom in an uncomfortable place. For many, the New York City subway would be considered an extremely comfortable place. However, Eron Watt has flagged the bathrooms within the subway system that are actually available for use, which could perhaps offer relief to commuters in the city.
Though there are 129, apparently only 48 of them are usable. Some are are newstands, others are being used for storage and others are locked, though MTA spokesman Adam Lisberg advised Gothamist that subway bathrooms should only be locked between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. for cleaning and crime prevention.
Hopefully, this map will make life easier for everyone who has to use the subway, which is just about everyone.
