The idea that a fictional form of combat could somehow be adopted as a viable real world self-defense system would normally be absurd.

It's basically a less useful form of Larping that imbues participants with an even more inflated sense of misplaced confidence. But, this, this is making us geek out way harder than we'd care to admit.

A chain of Italian combat schools have begun teaching lightsaber combat. The Ludosport Lightsaber Combat Academy teaches classes centered on the acrobatics and fitness all the while tickling that secret nerd g-spot. Elements of Kendo, fencing and Kenpo are all on display, but for some reason, we think if we tried this we'd end up looking like this:

We can't even front, we want to take classes as soon as our schedule alllows us the time to jaunt over to Italy.
