The cast for Marvel’s Ant-Man just keeps getting more impressive every week, and now Variety is reporting that the studio is in talks with Evangeline Lilly to star as the female lead in the superhero adaptation. The role itself hasn’t been specified, but it’s easy to assume that she might be playing the love interest of Scott Lang, a.k.a. Ant-Man, who will be portrayed by Paul Rudd.

Will Lilly’s character also have a connection to Michael Douglas’ Hank Pym? Perhaps. Writer Joe Cornish and director Edgar Wright could even turn comic book lore on its head and cast Lilly as Janet van Dyne, who was Pym’s love interest in the comics, but could easily play Lang’s romantic conquest in the film.

We’ll have more information on this when confirmation comes from Marvel. Ant-Man will hit theaters on July 17, 2015.
