Sega has taken to Steam to finally release a keyboard version of The House Of The Dead: Overkill and it is half price till the end of October.

Typing Of The Dead: Overkill will continue the same 'story' found in the Wii and PS3 versions of the the series. This time there's no Wii Mote or lightgun, players will need to rely on their typing skills to keep their vital organs firmly inside their bodies.

The gameplay is similar to the original, and still roundly missed, Typing Of The Dead, the 1999 title which gave The House Of The Dead 2 the typing tutor treatment.

Overkill will come with three difficulty levels and full Steam integration. A full port of the PlayStation 3 version will be bundled with the Steam version. In case you get tired of accidently learning and want to shoot zombies with your mouse instead.

The game is normally $19.99 but is available for $9.99 until November 1.
