Spending copious amounts of money on DJ equipment is overrated nowadays, especially when apps like 'djay 2' are available. Algoriddim, the people behind the 'djay' iOS app, have released djay 2 as the follow-up to their wildly successful app. Where the original app allowed anyone to mix and scratch music from their iTunes library, djay 2 includes new features such as a drum machine, sliding layers to combine turntables, and HD Waveforms.
But it doesn't stop there. The app also includes an all-new, built-in sampler, that allows users to trigger sounds and create drumbeats on top of their music. Its "Perfect Sync function," a feature that blends songs together seamlessly for beat-synchronized mash-ups, will insure a user's mixes never lose their groove. In other words: a convenient setup for the DJ that gigs anywhere and everywhere.
The app is currently available on the App Store for a one-week special introductory price: $0.99 for the iPhone and $4.99 for the iPad.
Djay 2 is compatible with the following Apple products: iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod Touch 4th and 5th generations running iOS 6 or later, iPad Mini, iPad 2, iPad 3 and iPad 4 running iOS 6 or later.
