New Yorkers enjoy complaining, and the summer heat makes them all the more aggravated. NYU's Furman Center took 311 data collected between June 2012 and August 2012 and created a map of the most common complaints. As you can see, "street light out," "loud music, party" and "vermin" are pretty common. That's New York City for you.
As Gothamist mentions, it's pretty surprising that "Mayor Bloomberg" doesn't appear on the map. He should consider that a victory. You can view the full list of complaints here.
