Good news for AT&T customers who were thinking about jumping ship after T-Mobile introduced their new early upgrade plan: AT&T is rolling out their own early upgrade plan, so you'll be able to get a shiny new phone every 12 months.
The program, dubbed 'AT&T Next', allows customers to upgrade phones and tablets with no money down. Customers will have the option of paying 1/20th of the price of the phone per month, which comes out to between $15 to $50 a month. For example, a customer picking up a Samsung Galaxy S4 will pay $32 a month along with their monthly service fee, (or, if they're buying a 16GB iPhone 5, they'd pay $32.50 per month for 12 months) and still be eligible to upgrade in a year—as opposed to a two year wait, which has been the norm. If you'd like to stick to the classic two year wait, you can still do so.
So, ready to upgrade?
