It would seem that all of Bethesda's online teasing over the last few days had nothing to do with a possible Fallout 4 announcement.

Whatever. We weren't that secretly excited about it. What we are getting is Wolfenstein: The New Order. An alternate history take on WWII, where the Nazis won and have instituted....a new world order. The shooter is set in the 1960s and will be developed by by MachineGames.

We are excited to bring a new chapter of Wolfenstein to gamers everywhere,” said creative director at MachineGames Jens Matthies. “As fans of the series, working on this game is an honor, and our team is driven to create an unforgettable action-adventure experience that will make FPS fans proud.”

Watch the trailer and let us know what you think. Personally, another gravelly voiced white guy double fisting automatic weapons is something we need more of in the gaming world.
