Twitterdeveloper meetups are underway, and as TechCrunch reports, the most exciting thing to come out of it isn't Twitter Music, but Twitter Cards. Yes, cards.
We know what you're thinking: Business cards, really? But the cards are actually a clever way of displaying embedded content, as you'll see in the tweet below.
The cards come out Thursday and can be used for all sorts of fun stuff, from embedding photo galleries to taking a poll or going shopping. The idea is to deepen user engagement and get people to use Twitter alongside other apps and services.
