In a surprise move, L.A. was named the most congested city in the U.S. INRIX released its sixth annual Traffic Scorecard Annual Report, which had a depressing revelation: Traffic in the U.S. had increased by four percent during the early months of 2013 as compared to last year. As expected, traffic in L.A. is the worst, where drivers lose a total of 59 hours per year stuck in infuriating traffic.

The reason for L.A.'s increased traffic is the 90,000 new jobs created in L.A. County, a 2.3 percent increase in job growth. More people commuting means more traffic, which is the last thing you want to hear when you're stuck it.
