Seat belts aren't the only belts that save lives.

One Philadelphia man has to be in love with his belt buckle right now, mostly because it saved his life. A shootout erupted outside of 8 Brothers Supermarket in the city's Grays Ferry section yesterday afternoon, and 38-year-old Bienvenido Reynoso was struck by a stray bullet.

Reynoso says he was about to move a hand truck to the store's exterior when the shots rang out, forcing him to hit the floor. Reynoso didn't even realize he had been shot until someone told him he had a hole in his shirt. The bullet was lodged in his belt buckle; it saved his life.
