Good news for Necessary Roughness fans: According to TV Line, USA has opted to renew the show for a third season, after being impressed by the creative direction of the show.
"Necessary Roughness is an important page in our network playbook," USA co-presidents Jeff Wachtel and Chris McCumber said of the renewal in a joint statement. "With a standout team of actors and writers playing at the top of their game, the upcoming seasons promise to deliver high-impact and creative storytelling."
The third season will consist of 10 episodes which are set to premiere next summer, and season two of the series returns on January 23rd for five more episodes.
