In addition to the news that Joseph Gordon-Levitt is joining the cast of the upcoming Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, Dimension Films has also announced that Josh Brolin is set to appear in the film as well. According to Deadline, Brolin will portray the character of Dwight, who was played by Clive Owen in 2005's Sin City.

"Dwight is a constant character throughout the Sin City world and “A Dame To Kill For” is a defining episode in his life," both directors Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller said in a statement. "We’re looking forward to Josh’s take on Dwight."

In the film, Dwight is hunted down by Ava Lord - the only woman he ever loved - and "then watches his life go straight to hell." Sin City: A Dame to Kill For takes place before the first film, so we'll get some backstory as to how Dwight came to, well, look like Clive Owen. It should be noted that Owen is also set to appear in the film.

The film, which also stars Mickey Rourke, Jessica Alba, Bruce WillisRosario Dawson, and Dennis Haysbert, is set to be released on October 4th.
