It's a damn shame when siblings get split up, and Twinkies and Wonder Bread may be finding separate homes when Hostess is sold. The company said that the main Hostess brand, which is responsible for Twinkies, Ding Dongs and Ho Hos, got a bid from one group. Their Drake brand was bid on by a different company, and Wonder Bread was bid on by another company.
Deals should be finalized by March, so we all have at least a few more months of quality time and memories.
