There may be a biopic surrounding the life of Johnny Carson in the works. According to Deadline, Black Swan writer John McLaughlin and Hitchcock producer Tom Thayer have been in talks with Carson's estate about a feature film following the life of the late Tonight Show host.

The film is currently in the process of being written by McLaughlin, and is reportedly loosely based on the upcoming book, Carson The Magnificent: An Intimate Portrait by Bill Zehme. The script will be shopped around to buyers after its completion.

It sounds like a good concept, that's for sure, but the question begs to be asked: Who could possibly pull off Carson's signature "Heeeeeeere's Johnny!" other than psycho Jack Nicholson from The Shining? This is something everyone needs to ask themselves.
