Good news for ABC shows Scandal and The Neighbors: According to The Hollywood Reporter, both shows have been given full 22-episode seasons by the network. The Neighbors, which premiered its first season earlier this year, has been a fairly solid performer for the network despite being somewhat panned by critics - though, as it's a show about a family who moves into a neighborhood inhabited by aliens, this isn't surprising.

As for the Shonda Rhimes series Scandal, which stars Kerry Washington and is in its second season, the network's additional episode order won't mean anything for the show's current ongoing arc, as that is still set to wrap after 13 episodes. Another plotline will be introduced after episode 13 to carry the season until its finale next May.
