PC gamers and developers alike seem to have developed some sort of fear, or at least wariness, of Windows 8, a sentiment that was sparked largely by Valve founder Gabe Newell. Gaben commented over the summer that Windows 8 would be "a catastrophe" for everyone who works or games on PC.
Blizzard's executive VP of game design Rob Pardo seemed to agree with Gaben in a recent statement, but now another Blizzard employee, senior software engineer Darren Williams, has come out in favor of Windows 8. Well, if not exactly in favor of it, then at least not against it.
"We put our games on platforms our players are already on, so yeah, it will be available on Windows 8," Williams told CVG, speaking of World of Warcraft.
"I think that we'll go with the platforms that the most people are on. There's no particular fear we have of Windows 8," he continued.
