Verizon customers looking to get their hands on what is arguably the best Windows Phone handset, the Nokia Lumia 900, won't have to wait much longer.

In an interview with Neowin.net, Richard Kerris, Nokia's vice president of Worldwide Developer Relations, said "it won't be long" before Nokia smartphones are available from the largest wireless company in the United States. Kerris gave no word, however, on how soon that will happen.

Branching out from AT&T and T-Mobile, the two carriers currently selling Nokia smartphones, would help Nokia and Microsoft better battle against the iPhone and Android handsets.
