The 2012 presidential election is just five moths away, and pastor Terry Jones of the Dove World Outreach Center in Gainesville,Fla., is helping to kick off campaign season with an anticipated racially charged stunt. In response to President Obama's endorsement of same-sex marriage, the church has hung an effigy of Obama on its front lawn.

Jones added that the move was triggered by Obama's position on abortion and his "appeasing of radical Islam." The Qur'an-burning Jones says that "radical Islam" is "the most dangerous threat to life and national security in America."

The effigy hangs from a gallows with a yellow noose. In its right hand is a doll, and in its left hand is a rainbow-colored gay pride flag. On a nearby trailer, the words "Obama is Killing America" are written. All of this from a church where prospective ministers are ordered to sever ties with most famiy members.

A Secret Service spokesman said they will be conducting a follow-up investigation.
