In an unprecedented event over the weekend, Adam Sandler’s cross-dressing dud of a film, Jack & Jill, swept the Razzie Awards by “winning” in all 10 categories, according to The Daily News. Among the awards the film was honored with were Worst Picture, Worst Supporting Actor (Al Pacino), Worst Supporting Actress (David Spade), Worst Director (Dennis Dugan), and Sandler himself won for both Worst Actor and Actress for his dual roles as Jack and Jill.

Sandler was not on hand to pick up his awards, most likely because he would have needed a U-Haul to bring them all home with him. Sandra Bullock notably picked up her Razzie for All About Steve in person, and found some good-natured humor in the event, which is a spoof of the Academy Awards.

Over the years, Sandler has become a staple at the Razzies, and the founder of the award show, John Wilson, had this to say about his work, “Adam Sandler has a pretty much basic attitude of, ‘No matter how dumb I make it, my fans are going to pay to see it,”’ Wilson continued. “I guess it’s more about the complete lack of any genuine effort or concern or pride. An attitude of this is good enough, but when you consider what they’re charging for movie tickets today, it wasn’t good enough.”

The only movie that Sandler has on the horizon is this summer’s That’s My Boy, starring Andy Samberg. Will it be enough to reprise his Razzie dominance from this year? Looks like we’ll just have to wait to find out.
