Here's some disappointed news for weed smokers, as the Netherlands has decided to limit legal marijuana consumption to residents. Dutch court upheld a law preventing the sale of of weed at coffee shops to tourists. In other words, this means that if you've never traveled to Amsterdam and comfortably purchased weed from a coffee shop, you never will. Let the struggle tears flow.

Here's what the Washington Post had to say about the matter:

None

Lawyers for the weed cafes are arguing that allowing residents to buy weed and preventing tourists contradicts national anti-discrimination laws. The court danced around that, linking the decision to an  increase in drug-related crime.

Despite this tragedy, it's still legal to carry on smoke marijuana, so the world isn't exactly ending.
