About two weeks ago, we told you that Chick-fil-A would literally be rolling out a food truck in D.C., and while that's still the plan, residents of the nation's capital will have to wait another two weeks. The food truck was supposed to begin making its way around town on Monday, but now NBC4 is reporting that the vehicle will finally appear by the end of the month.
Unfortunately, the truck won't carry all of the items typically found on the Chick-fil-A menu:
There's some disappointing news on the food front, too: The truck will have no waffle fries, no sweet tea and no lemonade. However, it will be serving sandwiches, nuggets, brownies and soda. Oh, and salads. (Meh. We mean... oh! That's great!)
A Chick-fil-A food truck with no lemonade and no waffle fries? Unforgivable.
