There's at least one person that's happy about the news that Ashton Kutcher is set to star as late Apple founder Steve Jobs in Joshua Michael Stern's new biopic - and that's the company's co-founder, Steve Wozniak.

According to TMZ, Wozniak gave Kutcher his blessing to take the role, saying, "I'm glad that he's onboard."

Wozniak continued, "The fear that many might have is that Ashton was selected because he's 'hot' right now. But I feel that his selection was done in the most professional manner ... I think he'll put a lot into it and that he cares about this particular subject."

The film is set to cover most of Jobs's life, from "wayward hippie to co-founder of Apple."
