MTV continues its quest to prove that its still vaguely connected to music by revealing a new season of iconic live performance show Unplugged.
Florence + the Machine will kick of the series on April 8. There will be eight new performances in total, 3 on both VH1 and MTV, and two to debut on CMT. The way we see it, that means we have a limited shot at seeing a hip hop performance along the lines of Jay-Z's or Lil Wayne's (in 2001 and 2011, respectively).
Who has the live chops to take the Unplugged stage? Frank Ocean's vocals get our vote, but Drizzy Drake would be a more plausible pick by MTV.
