Greenlight District: Showtime Renews "House of Lies", "Shameless", and "Californication"

Showtime, much like HBO, has been on a thumbs-up spree lately. Thanks to steadily increasing ratings across the board, the network gave three shows the greenlight— House of Lies, Shameless and Californication —for second, third and sixth seasons, respectively.

Not that we're protesting their renewal happy attitude—it means we're in for more of Don Cheadle's freeze-frame business strategizing, William H. Macy's drunkenly neglectful misadventures, and David Duchovony's insatiable philandering. What more could you really want from your television?

More Arrested Development episodes? Yeah, that will be happening too. Now your every boob-tube related desire has been fulfilled!
